GMW-ADA

The GMW (Give Me Way) plugin is the evolution of the Sentinel* device. With similar features, the Sporttraxx solution moreover provides both local (car-to-car) and remote communication (from-to HQ) when transmitting the requests for overtaking.  All the transmissions ( requests and their acknoledgements) are logged on the tracking web server and are available immediately. No need to wait and collect the units to retrieve data.  Both sent and received requests are transmitted locally, via WEB to HQ and logged at same time. 200 meters is the action distance toward the vehicle in front.

The EDA (Entering Dangerous Area) alerting signal is released by the same device. It alerts other CommBoxes in a 500 meters area about existing dangerous situations (accidents, obstacles on the way).

Sporttraxx can supply additional stand alone EDA emitters (cigarette box size)  to be used in emergency case by officials along the track. Or, if left along the race track, to permanently remind crews about oncoming dangers.

On SOS/OK/EDA signals a special "unlock" button has to be pressed, in order to avoid unwanted wrong alarms.

The installation of the GMW Comm Box is on the front rollbar, looking toward the codriver and reachable by both crew members if SOS button has to be pressed.
